- PRACTICING FOR THE XYX SHOW!
Priorities for the summer 2012: I AM NOT SURE ON WHAT TO DO WITH MY LIFE! Just wanted to make that clear. Priorities for March: An illustration that will get printed on canvas; a story that will be part of a compilation of memories about the Monterrey's underground scene of the late 2000's; a trip to Monterrey; I'm bringing a ton of books and stuff for my Mexican pals. I am throwing a party to show my crafts along a few great local designers. I'll keep you posted on that. Priorities for April: begin a weekly Spanish all levels class, donations based. It's happening now! Priorities for the month of February: finish working on the #xyx #zine #record that Monofonus Press is releasing soon! Thanks for coming out! Crochet, crochet, crochet, crochet, crochet, and crochet.I am not crocheting lately, instead I've been reading a ton.
- More X-Stitchin' for a new collection that I want to exhibit sometime in 2013.
- Having every reader of my book Cosas buenas que parecen malas featured on this flickr set.
Priorities of the month of January: sketching the art for the coming XYX record and preparing myself for my Doula training (a lot of reading!). Art is almost done! Waiting for the print shop to release the third print run of my book in Mexico City.Get the book at my shop! Getting a few drawings and Cross Stitched portraits ready to hang at the art wall inside End of an Ear (Austin!). Got the spot for January 2012. Great way to start the year.It was great to see all my favorite people in Austin at my art show ♥ Raising money to get my Birth Doula training and certification.Thank y'all for buying handmade goods from me! I get to use the raised money to buy books, since they granted me a scholarship for the training! Figuring out who will put out the late recordings of XYX. Getting to know the bidders.
